Pampanga Longganisa is also known as Filipino sweet sausage because of its ย obvious sweet and delicious taste. This recipe is another way of cooking sweet sausage and I personally like it since it melts more fat and gives the sausage a nice smokey flavor. I know that each of us have our own way of cooking this delicious breakfast dish. If you have not tried this grilled, you should scroll down and check the recipe and give it a try when you get the chance.
I am posting this recipe for the purpose of awareness. There are many ways to cook familiar dishes in a way that we are not accustomed to. It can be better or just another way to get things done, but we never know which side we are in until we try it.
I had these yummy sweet sausages for breakfast along with over easy eggs and a cup of my favorite fried rice. I also had a saucer of spicy vinegar (which is a mixture of white vinegar, Thai chili, garlic, and ground black pepper) to dip this on. It was one of the best Filipino breakfast that ย have ever had.
Since it is spring at this time of posting, we are spending sone of our weekends in the park with the family. I sometimes prepareย grilled sweet sausage and arrange these in the picnic basket along with our mainstay, pork and chicken adobo. Of course, ย an entire rice cooker filled with warm steamed rice will seal the deal. It is a perfect Filipino lunch made even better with the love and joy that we all share.
