What banana can i use?
Abi says
Gudam sir. Ive been following and trying at home ur recipes. And now I want to try baking but I dont have and oven, I only have and oven toaster. Will that work for banana bread or banana muffin?
Vanjo Merano says
Hi Abi. I think that it’s possible. For banana bread, try using a small baking tray.
Bake the banana bread for 350F for 26 to 28F. Use the same heat for banana muffin and bake it for 18 to 20 minutes. You may also want to do the toothpick test to make sure that both muffins and bread are completely done before removing from the oven toster.

can i use oven toaster? because i dont have oven and in my oven there’s no setting of temperature? it only have minutes of baking . please can teach me im beginner at this
Vanjo Merano says
Katarina, having the ability to measure the precise temperature is very important when baking muffins. If your oven is big enough and you have an oven thermometer handy (this is a portable tool that can be placed inside the oven to record temp.), then it might be possible.

Hi. Can we use your recipe as our study for research for what will be an outcome of using three kinds of banana (latundan, saba, lakatan). By the way, we will recognize your site in our literature. Thanks. God bless.

No. Using cake flour for this recipe will give you a different result.
Nahly says
I really like this recipe and it’s indeed foolproof. But would it still be as good if I substitute vegetable oil to butter and brown sugar to the granulated white sugar? Thanks
Vanjo Merano says
Hi Nahly, sure — that will work. Using vegetable or canola oil will make it more moist and using brown sugar is a healthier alternative to granulated white sugar.
