Baked Salmon with Lemon Garlic and Butter is an easy dish to make with your salmon fillet. It takes less than 20 minutes to cook and tastes good. I usually eat this with baguette along with a dip of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This can also be eaten with rice. You can serve your baked salmon with wild rice and some salad on the side.

Baked Salmon with Lemon Garlic and Butter Sauce

What makesย Baked Salmon with Lemon Garlic and Butter good? The main reason is the fish. Salmon is a tasty fish that can be enjoyed raw even without any condiments. I am referring sushi-grade salmon when I said that it can be enjoyed raw,but salmon, in general, is a tasty fish.

Note that not all fresh salmon are sushi grade. This means that you cannot just go grabย  a fresh fillet from the supermarket and make a sushi out of it. However, you can can get a fresh whole salmon fillet from the fishmonger or your neighborhood grocery store and turn it into something hearty and yummy, such as this dish.

I also think that the classic combination of garlic, lemon, and butter blends well with salmon. This is also true to otherย  fish variety. The garlic makes the fish tasty, while the lemon eliminates the fishy odor and helps make the fish fresh tasting. The butter, on the other hand, makes the dish rich and appetizing.

Baked Salmon with Lemon Garlic and Butter

The process of cooking this salmon dish involves the use of aluminum foil. The entire fish needs to be secured in foil before baking in order for the liquid, such as butter, lemon, and the juice from the salmon to remain intact. This will help keep the fish moist and it will preserve its flavor.

By the way, I also topped the salmon with dried dill weed. Although this is an optional ingredient. It will help give your baked salmon a nice sweet licorice flavor.ย  If you have tried my dill dip recipe, you should know what I’m talking about. If not, then now is the perfect time to try it.
