Salisbury-Steak

If you have not tried cooking anything before, or if you are just starting, this is something that you should try. It might just look intimidating, but it is really quick and easy to prepare. Enjoy your own Salisbury steak with steamed white rice of mashed potato. Sometimes, I add fried eggs on top. I know that it might sound unusual – well, that is just probably me. However, I think that it is good, and you should not limit yourself to this recipe too. Try what you think might work – who knows, your Salisbury steak version might be a hit.

Try this Salisbury steak with beef and mushroom gravy recipe. Let me know what you think.

Is the beef doubly grounded o giniling twice to cook it faster and well?
How thick should the patty be para maluto ng well done ang middle part ng patty pero hindi tostado sa labas within the 3-5 minutes frying per side.
Instead of mustard powder, pwede ba na yung French mustard na nilalagay sa hotdog sandwich? how many tsp or tbsp?
Thanks a lot and best regards. I have read many times your recipes in Panlasang Pinoy and usually pick from it most of the viands I intend to cook. More power.

I usually experiment in the kitchen with blah results. It didn’t help with my confidence. So for awhile, all I did was fry. But when I read your intro about how this was a good recipe for beginners to try, I got excited and cooked this for my family. Although I didn’t get the mustard powder, everything turned out pretty ok. Thanks Vanjo! 🙂

What I like about your recipes is that you make them so simple, so very-busy-mommy-friendly, in my case. Let’s face it, we want to eat good food at home but there are times when we also just want to make it happen at the shortest time possible. Love your blog. It is a source of inspiration for meal times in my home.
