We Filipinos are known for our positive values, hospitality, being hard-working, and our ability to face whatever challenges that life brings – with a smile in our face. On top of that, we are also known to have a great passion for food – to the point of considering eating as a hobby.
Of course, the last statement does not apply to all; although it covers the majority.

Here are 10 of the Best Filipino Food for me:
1. Pork Menudo
Menudo is a pork stew cooked in tomato based sauce with liver, potato and carrots.
2. Pancit Molo
A Filipino soup dish with wonton. It is best eaten with toasted garlic and chopped scallions.
3. Pork Binagoongan
A pork dish cooked with shrimp paste. This dish is so tasty and delicious. One more cup of rice please.
4. Maja Blanca
A Filipino pudding dessert with corn kernels. It is more exciting to eat if topped with roasted shredded coconut.
5. Inihaw na Liempo
Grilled pork belly is fantastic. Eat it with rice along with a spicy vinegar dip.
6. Dinuguan at Puto
The perfect pair, blood stew and steamed rice cake. Simply dip the puto into the stew and enjoy!
7. Leche Flan
The Filipino version of Creme Caramel. This is simply heavenly.
8. Lechon Kawali
A crunchy pork belly dish eaten with pork gravy. It’s like chicharrones with meat.
9. Beef Kaldereta
Beef stewed in tomato based sauce with olives and, bell pepper, carrots, and potato.
10. Lumpiang Sariwa
A fresh take on egg rolls. This is a good and healthy Filipino eggroll dish.
