Beef Mami is a type of Beef Noodle soup of Filipino-Chinese origin. This is simply composed of tender beef brisket and egg noodles, boiled eggs, and other toppings which are soaked in a hot ย and flavorful beef stock.
Beef Mami is usually sold in eateries. These mini restaurants are locally refered to as “Mamihan” or “Pares House”. It is a meal in itself, but it will be moreย delightful when eaten with Siopao. The beef mami recipe that we have here is more pf the Filipino side in terms of flavor. If you wan’t the taste to be somewhat oriental, you may a little soy sauce and sugar (just like the Beef pares).

I enjoyed watching your cooking videos, I learned cooking beef mami and beef pares through your site. Thank you, you’re a great help. Sometimes I “tweak” some of the ingredients like putting a little bit of sesame seed oil for the beef stock. It’s like fusing some other ingredients I learned from preparing other foreign soup/noodle dishes. It’s been working alright so far. Im not a great cook, I’m just learning through watching different cooking videos I browse through YouTube or any other food site. But when it comes to cooking authentic Pinoy foods, Your site, IMO is still the best. Thanks again. Keep uploading!
